These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dollar Shape Club website at dollarshapeclub.com and any related online services (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refunds & Returns Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These Terms are inspired by common ecommerce practice among Singapore retailers (including consumer-facing policies published by brands such as Sephora Singapore) and adapted for Dollar Shape Club’s products and operations.
1. Who we are

2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order.
- If you use the Site on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site complies with Singapore law and any other laws that apply to you.
3. Accounts & security
You may browse without an account, but certain features (order history, Rewards, saved addresses) require registration. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Please notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use.
We may suspend or close accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.
4. Orders, pricing & availability
- Prices are shown in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless stated otherwise and may change without notice before you complete checkout.
- An order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline an order (for example due to stock, pricing error, suspected fraud, or delivery limits).
- A contract forms when we confirm the order by email or in My Account.
- Product images are illustrative; packaging and presentation may vary slightly.
- Promotional codes and Rewards redemptions are subject to their stated rules and may be withdrawn or adjusted.
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout (which may include card payments and partners such as HitPay or Atome). Payment processing is handled by third-party providers under their terms. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Title to goods passes to you upon full payment and delivery (or collection, if applicable). Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address you provide.
6. Delivery (Singapore focus)
- We currently focus on delivery within Singapore. International shipping, if offered, will be stated at checkout.
- Delivery estimates are indicative, not guarantees. Delays may arise from carriers, customs (where relevant), weather, or peak periods.
- Please provide a complete and accurate address and contact number. We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect details.
- Free-shipping thresholds and points-based shipping options may apply as described on the Site or in your Rewards account.
7. Returns, refunds & exchanges
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy. Opened or used personal-care and consumable ritual products may be non-returnable for hygiene reasons except where required by Singapore consumer law (for example if goods are defective or not as described).
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable rights you may have under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or other Singapore consumer laws.
8. Product information & wellness claims
Our rituals and wellness products are lifestyle / beauty-from-within products. Descriptions, blogs, and product guidance are for general information and are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether a product is suitable.
Always follow on-pack directions. Discontinue use and seek advice if you experience any adverse reaction.
9. Intellectual property
All Site content — including text, graphics, logos, product names (such as CUPPY UP and CCLO-UP), photographs, and software — is owned by Dollar Shape Club or its licensors and protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written consent.
10. Reviews & user content
If you post reviews, photos, or other content (“User Content”), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with our brand and marketing. You confirm you own or control the rights to the User Content and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably consider inappropriate.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
- interfere with Site security, scrape content at scale, or introduce malware;
- impersonate another person or misuse another customer’s account;
- harass our team or other customers through Site or support channels;
- resell products purchased from us as a business buyer without our written permission.
12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dollar Shape Club and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or products. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order (or SGD 100 if no purchase was made), except where liability cannot be limited under Singapore law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Site, except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are drafted in English.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim related to the Site must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, unless a longer period is required by mandatory Singapore law.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically by posting a revised version on the Site. Changes apply from the “Last updated” date. Material changes that affect existing orders will not apply retrospectively to those orders.
